Distant Ventures began with the belief that every place, person and moment carries something worth capturing — not just documenting what exists, but revealing the feeling behind it.

Over time, that mindset evolved into a creative collective driven by curiosity and perspective, bringing together people drawn to exploration and the meaning found in the details. Through film, photography and creative ventures, we explore the world as we see it and invite others to see it with us. Distant Ventures exists not just as a studio, but as a growing community of creatives, collaborators, and ideas. At its core, it’s about perspective and the people who help shape it.

I’m Jacob, the founder and creative mind behind Distant Ventures.

My team and I create work that is both thoughtful and effective. We see the world as our own art gallery paying attention to the elements that shape how something is experienced, from light and colour to sound, design, and the subtle details in between.

Growing up in a small town taught me the value of a strong community and that mindset continues to shape how we approach our work today. We care not only about what we create, but also about the businesses we collaborate with and the people behind them.
